80710102 – Issue connecting online
Go to Settings
80010514 – Issue reading disc
If you get this error if you ever want your PS3 to read disc ever again you will have to send it into Sony for warranty, and if it is out of warranty you will have to pay 150.00 for them to fix it.
IMPORTANT: Before sending it in do a full system backup, restore the system, and deactivate your PSN account.
80029564 – Can’t install Playstation Network download comtent
Redownload the content you are trying to install, and try again.
80130203 – Connection has timed out
Open the following ports.
SCEA Game Servers

Go to Settings < Network Setting < Media Servers in your XMB and set to off.

Turn off PS3, Turn off Router, Turn off Modem.
Let stand for a minute
Turn on Modem – wait for it to come to a ready status, Turn on Router – wait for it to come to a ready status, Turn on PS3
If above does not work change to the public primary and secondary DNS which is 4.2.2.1
If none of these work, contact your ISP.

The message “press X to restart system is displayed”, do what it say and immediatly do a hard reset while it is searching for the update, and enter the recovery menu, insert storage media or a USB device and redownload the update by selecting option 6.

if theres a disc in it hold down the eject button until it comes out then go into the revovery menu to restore system before sending it in to sony

if you get this the icon for the disc will not on the XMB
if this happens before sending in to sony do a full system backup, deactivate your psn account and restore the system
XMB not loading
if you get this when you turn on your PS3 it will not bring up the XMB when you turn it on
if this happens to you access the recovery menu and do option 2,3,4,5 until one of them works
if none of these work you will have to send it in to sony and you will lose everything saved on your HDD
Red Screen Of Death
if you get this when you turn on your PS3 instead XMB coming you will see a red screen that says “A serious error has occured contact technical for assistance”
before sending it in to sony access the recovery menu and restore the system
if you get this you will lose everything saved on your HDD
Smoke
if you see smoke coming out of your PS3 when you turn it on turn it off immediatly and unplug it next contact sony about sending it in

Tips menggunakan Flashdisk jadi MC PS2
Pada tips kali ini kita akan mencoba membuat semacam Virtual memory card diflashdisk, tujuannya tidak lain sebagai pengganti memory card PlayStation 2 untuk menyimpan (save game) permainan PS2. Dan tips ini khusus buat PlayStation yang menggunakan optik dan masih berfungsi dengan baik. Untuk lebih jelasnya kita masuk aja ketipsnya
Software yang kita gunakan untuk membuat Virtual mc di flashdisk adalah HD Project dengan bantuan Ulaunc, untuk itu saya sudah bikin semacam CD booting multi untuk mempermudah instalasi Virtual mc ini, dimana isi bootingnya antara lain:
- Ulaunc versi 4.25
- HD Project versi 1.07
Download CD booting Multi dan jika sudah diextract, burning ke CD, jika sudah
Masukkan Flashdisk diport USB Playstation 2 dan masukkan CD Multi yang sudah kita burning dan jika sudah berhasil booting, pilih Manejemen File (Ulaunc), kemudian browse ke mass, kemudian bikin folder sesuai dengan keinginan Temen” (pada contoh ini saya bikin folder dengan nama MC-8mb), setelah itu keluar dan masuk lagi ke cdfs dan pilih HDGUI (HD Project) kemudian tekan lingkaran (stik),
Tunggu sebentar dan Anda akan masuk ke booting HD Project dengan tampilan awal seperti gambar dibawah ini (maap gambarnya rada buram),
Kemudian pilih MC TOOLS dan tekan Kali (X stik), dan akan masuk kegambar seperti dibawah ini
Pilih MC CREATOR (tanda panah merah digambar diatas) dan tekan kali (X stik), dan akan masuk ke setting virtual MC seperti gambar dibawah ini,
Seperti gambar diatas untuk
VMC SIZE : 8 MB (Besar kapasitas MC sebesar 8 mb, Temen” bisa merubahnya ke ukuran yang dikehendaki)
VMC PORT : 0 (Flashdisk dicolok diport 0 (Port USB bagian atas PS2 …-ver 11, port kiri untuk PS2 Slim)
STORE\MC PATH: ON
Kemudian pilih DESTINATION FILE dan tekan kali (X stik),
Pilih mass:/ kemudian tekan kali (X stik) seperti gambar diatas (tandah panah merah),
Kemudian akan masuk ke flashdisk, browse ke nama folder yang Anda bikin sebelumnya dengan Ulaunc (pada contoh ini saya berinama MC-8mb), kemudian tekan START, seperti gambar dibawah ini,
Dan akan seperti gambar dibawah ini,
Setelah itu pilih START CREATION dan tekan kali (X stik) untuk mulai membuat virtual MCnya, seperti gambar dibawah ini,
Maka make Virtual MCnya akan mulai diproses, seperti gambar dibawah ini,
Tunggu hingga proses format selesai, dan jika sudah virtual MCnya sudah bisa dicoba dengan memilih MC EMULATOR seperti gambar dibawah ini
Masukkan CDVD Game di DVD Rom PlayStation 2 dan ikuti perintah di monitor TV
Dan jika deteksi file IMGnya berhasil maka game akan loading dan virtual mcnya akan kebaca sebagai MC 1, dan sudah bisa digunakan untuk mensave permainan.
Selesai.
Untuk menggunakan Virtual MCnya sebagai berikutnya,
Masukkan CD Booting multi di DVD Rom PS2, setelah berhasil booting, Pilih Virtual MC PS2, dan akan masuk ke HD Project, seperti gambar dibawah ini,
Pilih SETTINGS, dan akan masuk kepengaturan seperti gambar dibawah ini
Pilih VIRTUAL MC SETTINGS, dan akan seperti gambar dibawah ini,
Di VIRTUAL MC PATH tentukan dimana virtual mcnya berada (pada contoh ini, difolder MC-8mb dengan nama file memorycard0.bin)
Untuk AUTO OPEN TRAY, set ON jika Anda ingin DVD Rom otomatis terbuka saat sudah ingin mulai main game dengan virtual MC.
Setelah selesai keluar dan SAVE SETTING
Jika save settingnya failed, Temen” masih bisa menggunakan virtual mc ini, cuma kekurangannya, tiap kali mau memulai main game dengan virtual mc ini, Temen” harus setting dulu patch dari virtual mc ini.
setelah selesai, keluar dengan menekan Segitiga (stik) dan pilih MC TOOLS dan pilih MC EMULATOR, masukkan CDVD Gamenya di DVD Rom PS2 dan Mainkan.
Selesai.
Untuk temen” yang ingin membuat Virtual MCnya dari MC PS2, Maka cara membuatnya adalah
Bikin dulu folder di flashdisk dengan bantuan Ulaunc (pada contoh ini saya beri nama MC-8mb-A)
Masuk di HD Project dan pilih MC DUMPPER seperti gambar dibawah ini,
Masukkan MC PS2 di slot 1 yang mau dicopy dan flashdisk diport USB PS2
Dan set setting dumpper seperti gambar dibawah ini
PORT : 0
SLOT : 0
dan pilih DESTINATION FILE kemudian tekan kali (x stik)
Masuk di mass dan browse ke folder dimana Temen” mau bikin mc Dumppernya, dalam contoh ini di folder MC-8mb-A, seperti gambar dibawah ini,
Pilih MC-8mb-A kemudian tekan START, dan akan seperti gambar dibawah ini,
Kemudian pilih START DUMPING untuk memulai bikin virtual MCnya dengan isi dari MC PS2 yang dimasukkan diport 1.
Tunggu hingga proses dumping selesai, dan jika sudah, maka di folder seperti contoh pada tips ini yaitu folder MC-8mb-A akan ada file virtual mc yang isinya adalah save permainan dari MC yang dicolok diport 1,
Untuk memulai menggunakan MC dumping ini, atur dulu setting VIRTUAL MC PATHnya ke folder dimana mc dumpingnya dibikin, dalam contoh ini di folder MC-8mb-A pada file memorycard0.bin, setelah selesai, masuk di MC TOOLS dan pilih MC EMULATOR, masukkan CDVD Gamenya di DVD Rom PS2 dan setelah file IMGnya berhasil dibaca, maka Temen” bisa memulai permainan dimana isi save game dari virtual mcnya sama dengan isi dari MC PS2 yang tadi di dumping.
Selesai.
Proteksi File di Memory Card PS2
Pada trik yang lalu telah kita bahas, bagaimana caranya agar data yang tersimpan didalam MC PS2 tidak bisa dicopy ke memory card yang lain lewat browser PS2.
Dan pada trik kali ini kita akan mencoba memproteksi lebih jauh lagi agar file yang tersimpan di memory cardnya selain tidak bisa dicopy tapi juga tidak bisa dihapus dari browser PS2.
Trik ini sebenarnya sama dengan trik sebelumnya, yaitu filenya kita mulai dulu dengan membuat file psu nya, dan selanjutnya file psu ini kita instal ke MC PS2nya dengan menggunakan ulaunchELF.
Cara membuat file psunya agar file tersebut agar tidak bisa dicopydan dihapus sebagai berikut.
Pertama-tama tentunya kita siapkan file yang akan kita bikin file psunya, dan biasanya untuk file yang tersimpan di MC umpamanya itu merupakan file booting, maka filenya terdiri dari file elf dan file icon.
Selanjutnya buka PS2 Save Converter,
Selanjutnya kita drag satu persatu file yang akan kita bikin file psu, dan setelah semua filenya sudah didrag masuk diwindow ps2 save converter.
Setelah itu klik Properties,
Selanjutnya pada Name kita isi dengan nama folder tempat dimana file” tersebut akan ditempatkan setelah kita masukkan di MC PS2, dan karena pada contoh ini kita akan membuat sebuah file booting yang mana file booting itu slalu kita simpan didalam folder BOOT, maka untuk UNNAMED SAVE kita ganti dengan BOOT, sementara untuk settingan lainnya agar filenya nanti tidak bisa dicopy dan dihapus
Setelah itu klik OK,
Selanjutnya tinggal kita save dengan mengklik .
Tentukan dimana file psunya akan kita simpan, serta ktik juga nama file psunya dan yang paling penting juga adalah pastikan untuk Save as type nya adalah Memory Linker (*.psu). Dan setelah itu klik Save.
Tunggu beberapa saat, dan setelah itu file psunya sudah selesai dibikin, pada contoh ini file disimpan difolder BOOT .
Selanjutnya file psu ini kita copy keflashdisk, kemudian kita instal ke MC PS2 dengan menggunakan ulaunchELF,
Dan setelah filenya sudah selesai kita instal di MC PS2, maka untuk mengetahui berhasil atau tidaknya file yang sudah kita lindungi, maka masuk dibrowser PS2 kemudian pilih icon file yang sudah diproteksi dan selanjutnya tekan Segitiga untuk masuk dioptions, dan untuk opsi File Protections akan menjadi Copying Prohibited dan Deleting Prohibited.
Sementara jika kita memaksa untuk mengcopynya, maka akan ada peringatan kalau filenya tidak bisa dicopy (This Data Cannot be copied), begitu juga jika kita memaksa untuk menghapus datanya, maka akan ada peringatan kalau file ini tidak bisa dihapus (This data cannot be deleted).
Controller/Stik Playstation 2
Stik atau controller merupakan salah satu hal yang terpenting dalam main game, tanpa adanya controller ini maka sebuah console game engga ada artinya. Untuk pemakaian pribadi, masalah pada stik game jarang terjadi, beda dengan stik yang digunakan dirental-rental game (Playstation 2), masalah yang paling sering terjadi adalah masalah pada stik/controller ini. Kerusakan atau tidak berfungsinya stik sebagaimana mestinya wajar terjadi dirental-rental game, ini dikarenakan karena seringnya dipake oleh banyak pengguna, baik anak” atau orang dewasa yang memiliki cara menggunakan stik yang beda”.
Dari pengalaman saya sendiri dan teman”, Kerusakan pada stik paling sering terjadi adalah kerusakan pada kabelnya (putus dalam), Kerusakan ini diakibatkan oleh banyak faktor, diantaranya:
- Penggunaan stik yang sembarangan.
- Menggulung kabel stik setelah habis dipake
- Kabel” dalam stik yang kualitasnya rendah (tidak tahan panas)
Biasanya untuk mendeteksi kerusakan stik pada kabelnya, biasanya di layar TV, Selalu muncul pesan untuk memasukkan controller di port game, sementara diport game sudah ada controllernya, tapi untuk memastikannya, anda harus membuka stik dan memeriksa sambungan masing” kabelnya, caranya :
Buka stik, terus gunakan AVO Meter dan set ke OHM (mengukur hambatan), tempelkan jarum tes AVO meter disalah satu kabel stik di PCB stik (papan jalur dalam stik game), kemudian jarum tes yang lainnnya ditempelkan kesetiap pin” colokan stik, jika kabel masih bagus, jarum AVO meter (analog) bergerak kekanan menunjukkan angka 0, sementara jika jarum tidak bergerak atau menunjukkan angka diatas 0, berarti kabel tersebut putus.
Jika semua kabel sudah diperiksa atau salah satu kabelnya sudah dipastikan putus, maka langka awal yang bisa anda gunakan adalah memotong kabel stik, kira” 10 cm dari PCB stik.
Tes kembali kabel” stik dengan AVO meter, dan jika sudah diukur, terus masih ada salah satu kabel yang putus, coba potong 10 cm lagi, Dan jika kabel sudah bagus semua, pasang kembali ke PCB sesuai warna kabel sebelumnya.
Supayah anda tidak bingung dalam sambungan kabel” stik, saya saranin gunakan trik cabut pasang, jangan cabut semua kabelnya di PCB stik baru dipasang kabel yang bagus.
Tapi gimana jika sudah dipotong-potong belum juga bagus kabelnya, sementara panjang kabel sudah pendek, Kalau sudah begini, engga ada jalan lain selain mengganti kabel stik dengan yang baru, ditoko-toko aksesoris game bisa anda temukan kabel stik yang sudah jadi tinggal anda pasang di PCB Stik, Tapi kalau sudah cari kesana kemari belum juga ketemu kabel yang anda mau,……. Cape deh……
Yuk kita bikin kabel stik kreasi kita sendiri, mau tau caranya ? ….
Ok, kita lanjutkan tipsnya. Kabel stik yang saya maksud disini bahan”nya mudah didapat, baik ditoko elektronic atau ditoko bahan bangunan.
Bahan yang anda perlukan adalah :
- Selang kecil (Diameter sekitar 4 mm)
- Kabel tunggal email sekitar 0,2 – 0,5 mm (Kabel email adalah kabel yang mempunyai lapisan khusus yang biasa dipake dalam gulungan dinamo atau travo).
Cara bikinnya :
Potong selang kira” 2 meter atau sesuai selerah anda,
Potong kabel email sekitar panjang selang + 4 cm (kabel email lebih panjang dari selang), sebanyak 8 potongan. Supayah kabelnya tidak kusut, saya akali dengan menancapkan 2 paku dipapan, dengan jarak antar paku sesuai panjang kabel email yang saya inginkan, kemudian kabel email saya ikatkan dipaku dan bentangkan kabel email mengelilingi antara kedua paku sebayak 4 kali putaran, hasilnya anda akan mendapatkan 8 kabel yang sama panjang.
Masukkan ke8 kabel email keselang, Anda bisa mengakalinya dengan terlebih dahulu memasukan kawat didalam selang,baru kemudian ikatkan kabel email diujung kawat sementara ujung kawat yang lain kita tarik keluar dari selang.
Buka colokan kabel stik yang rusak dengan cara mengiris dengan silet pinggiran dari colokan stik (biasanya sudah ada bekasnya). Lakukan dengan teliti dan harus hati”.
Jika sudah terbuka, Anda akan mendapatkan 8 warna kabel beserta pin”nya, penahan pin, penahan kabel, seperti gambar dibawah ini.
- Ke 8 kabel warna, dari posisi seperti gambar diatas : Hijau, Kosong, Biru, Kuning, Merah, Hitam, Abu”, Orange, Coklat.
- Penahan Pin.
- Penahan kabel.
Alangka baiknya kalau anda mencatat urutan warna kabel stik. Cungkil keatas penahan pin dengan obeng -, seperti gambar dibawah ini.
Setelah penahan pin terbuka seperti gambar diatas, keluarkan semua pin” (8 pin), dengan cara mencungkilnya kebelakan dengan jarum seperti gambar dibawah ini.
Keluarkan ke 8 pin seperti gambar diatas, buka kabelnya dan ganti dengan kabel email, yang mana kabel email terlebih dahulu ujungnya kita korek” dulu dengan silet supayah emailnya/pembungkusnya hilang, atau lebih bagus jika kita solder dengan timah. Setelah semua pin (8 pin) kita sambung dengan kabel email (8 kabel), masukkan kembali kelubangnya, pasang rapat penahan pin seperti semula, dan yang penting juga adalah pasang penahan kabel diujung selang, tutup kembali dan rekatkan dengan menggunakan lem (saya gunakan lem alteco asli), jika sudah selesai, gambarnya seperti dibawah ini.
Kemudian diujung selang yang lain, pasang ke 8 kabel email ke tempatnya masing” di papan PCB stik. Disini anda harus teliti jangan sampai tertukar, Karena kabel email warnanya cuma satu, maka untuk memasangnya saya menggunakan trik cabut pasang seperti uraian diatas, terlebih dahulu tentukan 1 kabel warna apa yang anda cabut di PCB stik, kemudian cari sambungan kabelnya dengan cara menggunakan AVO meter, caranya, tempelkan ujung jarum tes ke pin colokan stik (urutan warna pin colokan stik dapat perpedoman dari urutan pin warna diatas atau dari urutan warna pin yang sudah anda catat tadi) sementara jarum tes yang satunya kita tempelkan di ujung kabel email, tes satu” sampai jarum AVO meter bergerak, jika sudah dapat sambungan kabel emailnya yang sesuai, solder ke PCB, lakukan langka” diatas sampai ke 8 kabel email terpasang di tempatnya masing” (PCB Stik), Jika sudah selesai dan sudah dipastikan semua kabel email disolder ditempatnya masing”, pasang selang seperti gambar dibawah ini.
Tutup kembali, pasang bautnya dan anda akan mendapatkan stik dengan kabel kreasi anda sendiri.
Selesai. Jika Anda mengerjakannya dengan teliti dan hati”, Anda akan mendapatkan kabel kreasi sendiri yang tidak kalah dengan kabel bawaan stik, dan yang pasti lebih awet jika dibandingkan dengan kabel bawaan stik yang menggunakan kabel serabut.
